To deliver excellent Scaffold Labouring services in compliance with Company Standards effectively and within the department’s service level of commitment.

Job Description

• The Scaffold Labourer will deal with various Scaffold Labourer tasks, deemed appropriate for a Scaffold Labourer by the Supervisor/Foreman & Contracts Manager.

• Responsible for maintaining a high level of commitment, to a high standard of professionalism.

• To maintain Tools and Safety Equipment (PPE).

• To observe and maintain Health and Safety guidelines and practices at all times, to provide continued safety practice whilst on site and whilst working at Height.

• To attend toolbox talks & Site briefs on any GKR Projects upon starting new projects.

• To possess a CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolder Record Scheme).

• To possess the COTS card accreditation.

• To deliver general Labouring on site and follow instruction.

• To have the ability to work effectively in a team & follow supervision.

• To manually unload and load the Scaffold Materials and move to work areas defined by the GKR site Supervisor / Contracts Manager or relevant persons specified by management.

• To select and carry correct sized materials requested for works to works.

• To lay out materials in the correct areas specified.

• To keep clear work areas and deliver good site housekeeping in adherence with GKR standards.

• To be responsible for taking materials from storage areas to their place of work via use of Hoist or lift including if appropriate the use of site crane via the operative or via walking the erected scaffold zone areas.

• To be responsible for the use of the rope and wheel to hoist materials up and down the erected scaffold building.

• To have the ability to work effectively in a team & follow supervision.

• To be competent in working in adverse weathers dependent on Health and safety Legislation compliance.

• To be aware of Team members whilst working on Site at all times and have a strong sense of positioning and responsibility

• To work in accordance of legislation requirements and agreed scope of works.

• To attend Health and Safety updates and briefings & Company scheduled meetings deemed appropriate.

• Taking responsibility for own personal development, in line with agreed annual objectives where appropriate and agreed.

• To provide cover for other Labourers of the Contracts team during holidays and sickness.

• Building effective relationships with customers and GKR Scaffolding employees both internally and externally, by use of appropriate questioning, clarification and language.

• Providing excellent customer service in line with GKR Scaffolding Ltd Company standards, procedures and guidelines.
