Scaffold North Ltd is a family run business which has provided an expert scaffolding service nationwide for over 12years. Based out of Birtley, Gateshead, we continue to deliver quality scaffold solutions across the industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors ensuring that each project is erected and dismantled in accordance with latest industry best practice / guidance.
We are experts in high-risk access and working at height. We ensure each access platform supplied by Scaffold North is fit for purpose and forms a secure working environment for our clients so that all trades are able to work safely.
Position Available:
– Part 2 Scaffolder
Responsibilities – Part 2 Scaffolder:
– Carrying / distribution of scaffolding materials around the site
– Manual loading and unloading of scaffolding equipment.
– Erection and dismantle of scaffolding structures within your competence (under the supervision of an advanced scaffolder / squad leader) and in accordance with NASC guidance document SG4:22 / TG20:21 compliance sheet OR bespoke design.
– Complete scaffold inspections and handovers.
Note: all roles require working both in the scaffolding yard and on-site in all weather
Requirements – Part 2 Scaffolder
– CISRS Card (appropriate level to position being applied for)
– Demonstratable experience
– Good physical health
– Ability to understand and correctly interpret TG20:21 compliance sheets and bespoke design drawings.
– Good written and verbal communication skills.
– Comprehensive knowledge of SG4:22.
– Full UK Drivers license is desirable but not essential
