Alice proves there are no limits

It seems to be a commonly accepted truth that scaffolding is an industry that doesn’t offer many opportunities, and certainly not for women or people from diverse backgrounds.

Whilst there may be some evidence of this historically in the wider industry, this is certainly not true of NASC employers, as exemplified by Star Scaffolding.

Alice joined Star Scaffolding more than 10 years ago as an apprentice and is now a director.

“I started as an apprentice and worked my way up. I really like working at Star because there’s so much opportunity and they’ve given a lot back to me. I really enjoy my job role.”

It just goes to show that there are no barriers to what can be achieved in scaffolding. Alice and Star Scaffolding are a clear demonstration of that and NASC are extremely proud of both of them.
