From Yard Operative to Operations Manager

Lee began his career at 19, joining Alltask as a Yard Operative on their Trainee Scaffolder Programme. Over the years, Lee has held various roles: including Trainee Scaffolder; Scaffolder; Advanced Scaffolder; Supervisor (Black Hat); and ultimately, Operations Manager.

Lee has been involved in a variety of projects, including leading a gang in Hammersmith as a Supervisor on Alltask’s Social Housing Division and working on heritage restoration in the Palace of Westminster.

Lee’s commitment to professional growth is evident. In addition to being an Advanced Scaffolder with Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), he is also qualified in Safety Passport, Confined Space, Fire Marshall, and First Aid.

Lee has risen to the position of Operations Manager. Within the role, Lee is responsible for the management of all scaffolding projects on the company’s software system ensuring all projects are adequately staffed with qualified and experienced personnel and resourced with the correct vehicles and equipment to complete the tasks. Lee routinely manages over 50 projects, overseeing 250 personnel and more than 100 vehicles. The role is fast moving, extremely challenging and pivotal to the success of the business.

Lee’s journey at Alltask, which began in the yard and progressed through roles as a Scaffolder, Advanced Scaffolder, and Supervisor of scaffolding projects across all our operating sectors, has equipped him with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to fulfil the roles and responsibilities of the demanding yet rewarding role of Operations Manager.
