We are looking to recruit a Contracts Supervisor to support our Access Branch in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Contracts Manager and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for controlling contracts designated to you. On a daily basis, this will involve liaising with Site Managers and agreeing on programme schedules for works throughout the contract agreement and then finally closing them within budget by maintaining good control of ongoing costs associated with projects, including labour. Preferably, you will have 5 years of previous experience within the scaffolding sector working at a similar level.

Key Responsibilities
• Health & Safety Activities on site and ensuring that all employees are working to the safety regulations.
• Managing and controlling labour on contracts designated to you.
• Controlling labour spend within budget.
• Organising transport by liaising with the yard Foreman.
• Liaising with site managers and agreeing programme of works.
• Attending site meetings with clients.
• Attending Contracts meetings within the branch.
• Managing Stock control with good housekeeping and ensuring that sites are cleared in a timeously manner.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties at the discretion of the Operations, Contracts Manager and General Manager.

Knowledge skills & experience
• Preferably 5 years’ previous experience within the Scaffolding sector working at a similar level
• Site Manager Safety Training Scheme desirable
• IOSH or NEBOSH is highly desirable
Person
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication between all parties involved with the Business Unit.

Work Location

Based at our Edinburgh office, your site presence at the other contract locations is essential. You will be required from time to time, to travel to other Enigma locations for meetings, although this will be infrequent.

Salary & Rewards

Basic Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience
Pension : Upto 8% contributory by Company / Employee
Holidays: 25 Annual + 8 Days Bank Holiday
Hours of work: 40 hrs per week, Monday – Friday
Notice: 3 Months

Company car or car allowance provided dependent on preference.
