EMERGING CAREERS LEAD

 Our emerging careers lead will focus on continuing to develop and grow the number of colleagues who are currently in earn and learn schemes.  We are proud to be gold members of the 5% club which means we have at least 5% of our workforce in earn and learn schemes.  We have currently over 50  apprentices in a range of our core trades including scaffolding, insulation and painting with ambitions to grow this further .

Key Accountabilities

• Develop the infrastructure including attraction, onboarding, and induction, to support our colleagues to succeed in their learning and continue to develop their careers at KAEFER.
• Working with the Head of Talent acquisition to support attraction and recruitment of Emerging talent.
• Develop and manage relationships with external Apprenticeship providers and Colleges to ensure excellent quality of training delivery and support and to extend the range of apprenticeships and standards we offer to meet the needs of the business.
• Develop an engagement/retention programme for apprentices including appointment of mentors and supporting the integration of apprentices into the organisation,
• Work with the wider People team to shape career paths.
• Create and develop a strong external network to increase KAEFER’s visibility and build knowledge and expertise.
• Work with the business to support current graduates and support a wider graduate programme.
