Our product range includes the original Allround Modular Scaffolding System, Temporary Roof Systems, Event System Solutions for Grandstands and Stages, Protect Scaffolding Cladding, Rolling Towers, and Ladders.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for 3 x SME Business Development Managers at Layher Ltd (UK). The Business Development Managers will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities, conducting market research, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and negotiating contracts. The role is to develop emerging and existing scaffold companies, support them both practically and financially in their journey into the use of the Layher System Scaffolding offerings – this role carries an element of practical involvement and so would potentially suit someone looking to come off the tools and into a sales support role.

We require 3 x SME’s
🔵North England, located ideally between the N/W and the N/E.
🔵Central UK, south Wales over to the East Coast, located ideally in around Birmingham.
🔵Scotland, ideally located in the Central Belt.

Renumeration: is dependent upon experience, but will consist of basic salary + open ended commission + generous pension + Sign written Ford Ranger + mobile/laptop

Qualifications

Strong sense of business development and sales/practical skills
Experience desirable, but the right candidate with the right attitude would be considered
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
Knowledge of the scaffolding industry is a must
Understanding of the construction industry
Ability to work independently and in a team
CISRS qualifications an advantage, higher education and life experience also considerations – GCSE’s Maths and English required, along with computer skills (email, word, etc).
use/knowledge of Layher products an advantage, but product training would be given
