Yard Labourer
Job description
Yard Labourer – Scaffolding (Must have own transport due to location)
Salary: £6.40 – £11.44 per hour (minimum wage for your age)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8am – 6pm (you will be working an 8 hour shift with varying start times)
LTC Scaffolding are looking to recruit Yard Labourers who like to work outside and are interested in gaining skills and qualifications in scaffolding.
Duties:
To receive instructions and guidance from the Scaffolding Yard Manager
Pick and load scaffolding materials onto vehicles (heavy lifting is involved)
Ensure all scaffolding equipment returned from site is sorted, stored neatly ready for re-use.
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Ensure the safety of yourself and others.
To carry out good housekeeping whereby it is your responsibility for picking up rubbish, litter and refuse as you walk through the yard.
Wear your PPE at all times when inside the Scaffolding Yard, and to ensure others, like visitors also wear them.
Follow Risk Assessments and Safe Working Procedures as required by LTC Scaffolding Limited.
